Chicken Soup

- 1 whole chicken
- 5 carrots peeled and sliced
- 3-4 stalks celery peeled and sliced
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tbsp rosemary
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp salt
- water
Place chicken in a large pot.
Add onion, carrots, celery, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
Cover with water.
Simmer for at least 4 hours or until chicken easily falls away from the bones.
Strain broth into a large container then sift through the vegetables and meat. Carefully remove and discard any bones and cartilage. Return the vegetables and meat to the broth.
Serve with noodles or cooked rice.
